Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 on Vita and 3DS are a buggy mess, and they never updated it, plenty of typos, menu errors, etc. Samurai Warriors 4-II sendiri rencananya akan dirilis untuk PC, Playstation. Namun ingat, mereka baru mengkonfirmasikan model karakter saja, dan belum fitur atau elemen lainnya. They've been getting "cheaper" and lazier as ever even with their console releases, where a lot of them now don't even have dubbing anymore, or even physical releases. Menanggapi kritik dari para fans, Koei Tecmo memastikan bahwa model karakter Samurai Warriors 4-II akan didasarkan dari versi Playstation 4, dan bukannya Playstation 3. Koei US and EU are mere puppets at this point, and KOEI JP overall has a massive contempt toward the US and EU in general, even on console lately. Ya, but to be fair, most of this is KOEI JP's fault. Let's not even get into the general quality of their PC ports. They've never realized that the real reason was that Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires was pure crap. Koei deduced that it was because PC players don't like the Empires type gameplay. Koei managed to port the worst Empires game ever to PC to test the waters.
The Empires series has a smaller player base than the main games. Samurai Warriors 4-II, Empires edition I really love, and I still love playing Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires, I saw on a video that there was an Empires edition of SW 4-II, on PS4. Similar how the Orochi series was denied a PC release. That’s not to say that some of the same problems don’t exist. Explore the world of SAMURAI WARRIORS 4 anew, in this whole new take on the title.

The most well-received elements of SAMURAI WARRIORS 4 are carried over, while the action balance, cut-scenes and character development systems have all been significantly upgraded.
